BANGKOK – Thailand’s Geo-Informatics and Space Technology Development Agency (GISTDA) is stepping up its push into international markets, bringing existing and prospective business partners together to drive overseas demand for its THEOS-2 satellite data services and other flagship products.
The agency hosted a “Partner Engagement” session as part of Thailand Space Expo 2026, a platform designed to connect long-standing partners, who play a key role in marketing THEOS-2 data abroad, with promising newcomers. The goal is to open up fresh business opportunities and widen GISTDA’s reach across regional and global markets.
The session put the spotlight on THEOS-2’s capabilities and GISTDA’s geospatial services, while giving participants a chance to share business needs and explore collaboration across a broad range of sectors, including smart agriculture, urban management, disaster response and carbon credit monitoring.
On 30 October 2026, GISTDA also hosted the partner delegation on a field trip to the Space Krenovation Park (SKP) in Chonburi Province, offering a first-hand look at Thailand’s space infrastructure and technological expertise. The delegation also visited the Takhian Tia community before the day wrapped up with a reception dinner on the Chao Phraya River, aimed at strengthening ties and building a lasting cooperation network.
The meeting marks another significant step in deepening relationships with established partners while welcoming new ones, as GISTDA and its allies work together to grow THEOS-2 and Thailand’s space technology services in overseas markets.
